operated on "Built-Operate-Transfer" model in Turkey. The Plant
is located 100 kms to the west of the city of Istanbul and it is designed
and operated with full environmental consciousness.
The Plant has an annual average guaranteed
generation capacity of 3.6 billion kWhs and the base load electricity is
sold to the State owned electricity Company in accordance with a 50 years
Implementation Contract and a 20 years Initial Energy Sales Agreement.
UNIT Group, as the developer and the
founding partner of the Project, currently holds one third of the share
capital of UNI-MAR.
