The purpose of Human Resources policy is to support and promote the strategic focus areas of Unit Group as well as the design and implementation of practices, which support corporate values.
Unit Group aims to be a desirable workplace that can attract and retain qualified employees at all levels - employees who make their own individual contribution to meet Unit’s objective of being one of the leading companies in the energy market. The HR policy is intended as a strategic tool to achieve these objectives.
 

Recruitment
 

Unit Group is committed to ensuring a fair and retention focused recruiting and hiring process that results in the appropriate match of skills, knowledge, experience, and job requirements.
The policies established create value for the firm through attracting and retaining talented individuals who possess the required qualifications to support Unit Group reach its objectives. In order to avhieve this, we establish a realistic job preview, share our expectations at interviews, and evaluate candidates according to our culture fit criteria and also person/skills job fit. We empahize internally promoting our employees rather than hiring whereever possible.

To achieve our objective of promoting rather than hiring, we designed a Management Trainee Program that develops individuals with Unit Group culture and competencies. These individuals are then placed in critical positions and in prospective companies within the group.

Development

Unit Group aims to invest in and to create an environment with opportunities for continuous development of its employees and help them realize their potential. Unit’s organizational culture supports a continuous and consistent performance management process that stimulates and enhances individual contribution to achieve effective business results. We continuously track employee performance and support open communication by creating a culture where managers are accountable for employee development.  By assigning them to various projects we give them the opportunity to develop different set of skills.

Training

Training is an important component of developing our employees that enables us to deliver business results. Our training programs are designed according to the needs  of our people arising from the gap between the positions required competencies and employees existing competencies. We organize in house trainings that help improving the communication and company dynamics, and we also send our employees to open trainings in their fields of profession in order to help their personal development.
