UNIT Group has a turn-key engineering,
procurement and construction contract with a private company
in Iran for a 2.000 MW Rudeshur simple cycle gas turbine power
plant to be completed in 3 phases. The construction has started
in June 2004. The total cost of the project is expected to
reach approximately 550 million Euros. The project is strongly
supported by the Ministry of Energy and the Central Bank of
the Islamic Republic of Iran. UNIT Group has proved its reputation
and experience in power projects by undertaking to develop
and implement this project which will be the first and so
far the largest private sector investment in Iran.
