is mainly focused on
Acquisition of Distribution Regions to be Privatized by
the Privatization Administration of Turkey,
Development of long term PPAs for the Generation Investments
of the Group
Development of a Cross-Border Trade Portfolio in ECSEE Region
Development of a Trade Portfolio in Turkish Electricity
Market
Within this framework, UNIT Group, together with its strategic
partners in the Turkish Electricity Market, Doðuþ Holding,
Doðan Holding and Anadolu Group, three major Turkish Conglomerates,
is in the bidding process for
the electricity distribution companies Ayedas, Baskent and
Sakarya.
The Group, appreciating the importance of being a regional
player, is in the process of acquiring mid-size electricity
trading companies to enhance its position in the ECSEE Region,
with a special focus on the Turkish market, as it constitutes
over 40% of the total volume of the region and is at the
early stages of liberalization and privatization.
UNIT Group’s trade operations in the Turkish Market shall
be performed under a wholesale company, whose shares are
equally held by the Group and its three Strategic Partners.
