History and achievements

As being an international company with local know-how, Unit Group is an important player in the Turkish electricity sector  with its large scale investments in hydroelectric power plants and power stations. The group also has projects in Romania and Italy.

Since 2001 Turkish economy has been growing  5% on average. In order to meet the country’s energy requirements, 4-5 billion annual US dollars investment is needed. Considering the potential in the industry, the Group has led the foundation of the energy consortium UDDA together with Doğuş, Doğan and Anadolu groups, which are some of the leading conglomerates the country.

Additionally, Unit Group has also known with its investments in tourism sector in Turkey. The group currently owns four large hotels:
